When natural disasters strike, HWS students, faculty, and staff have pitched in to help. HWS Responds began in 2005 in an effort to help victims of Hurricane Katrina, and has continued with efforts to assist people affected by the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Your financial support to aid those affected by Hurricane Sandy sends an important statement about our collective response to this unfolding tragedy. We are proud of our historical affiliation with Direct Relief and would also note that Forbes recently rated Direct Relief as “100% efficient,” and “[among the] 20 most efficient large U.S. charities.”
Please make a gift and thank you in advance for your support for those in dire need.
Sincerely,
HWS Responds
