I lived in Japan for many, many years. My kids were both born there. Much of my heart continues to live there. My first, and continuing thought, is that I should get on a plane and go help. It's a ridiculous thought. What can I do? I'd just get in the way. These folk KNOW how to help. I understand that because Japan is a first world country people tend to think they can help themselves. They can't they need our help. Dump a few pennies in the bucket and know that you have helped. It'll make you feel good!

It's a drop in the bucket, but every little bit helps.
